Every major update we (at gentoo) and maybe others have issue to upgrade. I
reported[1] this in the past.
Building the crt should use the headers within the crt and not within
sysroot, this to enable building the new crt using an environment that has
the old crt.
Other libc implementation do
mingw-w64 v1.0.10 and v2.0.10 are released for maintenance to fix
some recently revealed bugs, especially bug #465. If anyone is
still using v1.x or v2.x series, they should update.
