In sendmail.mc smrsh is activated: FEATURE(smrsh,
`/usr/lib/sm.bin/smrsh')dnl
In /usr/lib/sm.bin/smrsh the link to wrapper is created like

/usr/sbin/smrsh is an executable... you probably wanted to
cd /etc/smrsh before symbolically linking.

I've resolved the problem but now i got another...
when i send a mail to the list i got a message back with the following
error...
[root@encino mailman-2.0.1]# /etc/smrsh/wrapper post
Failure to exec script. WANTED gid 12, GOT gid 0. (Reconfigure to take
0?)
then i've run configure --with-mail
Try putting a symlink in your /etc/smrsh directory pointing to wrapper:
cd /etc/smrsh
ln -s /home/mailman/mail/wrapper wrapper
