Thank you very much for your help. It is good to know that I can use the
mass subscription feature and upload a text file with email addresses to
subscribe to a mailing list instead of doing a lot of typing.

If you don't have a custom member adaptor, they are stored as part of
the Python pickle that stores all the list information -
lists/listname/config.pck
