The issue I have with the roster email is that it doesn't tell you whether the
user is on nomail or digest. We had an issue last week where one of my users
moved a lists from Freelists to Mail

Is there an easy way to get all of your e-mail addresses out of Mailman version
2.1.6? Maybe a backup or export function? I know this sounds SO novice, but

lists, all you need to do is copy them, they're in the mailman/lists dir.

names (using bin/list_members) to include in an email. However, I
cannot figure out how to include the user options. In the Mailman

If your Hosting company will not do back-ups for you, then you can
always use the Web-Admin tool and save the source pages. If you use a
Linux workstation (or cygwin on a Windows box) then you can easily
automate this task using Links.

I finally have a solution to my fried config.db problem. While I could
copy the config.dbs & relevant files to another machine & make it work,
I copying them to a new install on the same machine didn't buy me
anything.
So the solution is basically: foreach list in old install, make a new
