Hello,
I am in the process of migrating data from a server to a new vps. The
server is hosting around 200 lists. The mail archives on this server
are around 30GB.
The only way I can get the data to the new server is over the internet.
Due to the speed of the DSL link (700k upload), I need to
Sorry Mark, the problem was between the monitor and the chair.ME!! I
was not running arch from the mailman bin folder so was running the
other arch command in /bin. My mistake, all works fine now and archives
moved.
Thanks for your help

have created the new list and so was wondering if there is some way to
move all the old archives to the new list? They are on the same
server/domain, but have different names now?

Hi,
I use mailman version 2.1.10 patched with mhonarc and modinc patches.
I'm trying to move archives to subdirectories.
e.g.
$base/archives/private/test
$base/archives/private/test.mbox
=>
$base/archives/private/sectionA/test
$base/archives/private/sectionA/test.mbox

that's the hard part, really. It took me days to find a script to do
this. Were I better at perl I could have probably done it myself, but I
am not.
I would strongly recommend performing this on a dummy list first, and
then renaming the "cleaned" mbox file to import

I'm moving my lists from dolist 3.x to Mailman 2.1.5 and I need mailman
to retain message dates while I move the old dolist archives to
