I have found kind of a solution which is not very elegant but gets the job done.
I now use "transport_maps" in postfix with regular expressions like
/^(mylist|mylist-.*)@mydomain\.net$/ mailman:
In mm_cfg.py for now I set "MTA=None" but maybe I can edit
/usr/lib/mailman/Mailman/MTA/Postfix.py

I think I solved my issues, and they were simple. The only problems
were that 1) I had accidentally typed DEFAULT_HOME_NAME or something
like that instead of DEFAULT_HOST_NAME, and 2) I hadn't re-specified
MAILMAN_OWNER after redefining DEFAULT_HOST_NAME in the mm_cfg.py file.
