Check out the ~mailman/bin/arch command. It will turn an ordinary mbox
file into web-based archives ala' Pipermail.
You'll have to put the mbox file in the right place:
~mailman/archives/private/.mbox/.mbox
(that's from memory, so you should verify it).

We are trying to convince some of our users to switch from proprietary
mailing list systems they wrote themselves to mailman. I am having
trouoble with one - he has a very large collection of archives of his
old lists he wants imported into mailman.
