I'm trying to set up a listserve and getting the above
message. I have root user priviledges but still can't
define a list for user on my site.

Just installed Mailman 2.1.1 and get the following error when trying to
create a new list.
Error: You are not authorized to create new mailing lists
The authentication password that I'm using is the same one as let's me
administer mailman itself.
I've seen nothing in the FAQ that covers this, a
