Mailmanit doesn't seem to be changing the settings of user options by email
commands as it should.
Subscribing is excellent, so I *know* it is receiving the commands by email
correctly, and I am CC'ing the emails to myself so that I *know* they are going
to Mailman in the correct format, and I

Hi,
I'm using Mailman and would like to share some administrative actions
to the moderator.
Actually I can't find in any documentation the way for the list
moderator to set the 'moderate' flag to a list member.

Mailman version 2.1.11 on a hosted service ...
As far as I can tell by experimentation, the email admin commands
(such as "who" to get a membership list) work only when they are in
the subject line of the request. The command is not recognized
in the body of the message, even if it is the only co
Is there any way for a list administrator can subscribe/unsubscribe
users via an email command? I would also like to be able to set/clear
the "no mail" flag.
Background: I administrate several lists and maintain an Excel
spreadsheet that contains membership data. Some folks are members of

I have read the archives and searched the documentation for information
about this, but I wanted to see what others are doing about this.
One of the list owners is blind. She is not that saavy with her screen
reader, so using the Mailman web interface is not a good option for her.
So, I am pretty
Turns out that you need to enter a new line after the command. At least
that's what my partner found out. In any case, here's what works for us:
send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi:
I have upgraded from 2.0.10 to 2.1.3 (on FreeBSD) and I am having trouble
with the email commands.
What I need to do is have the user fill out a form on web page to
unsubscribe and then have the form emailed to the list.
According to the docs this is possible but when I test it, all I get is
