Postfix works. I've added the aliases entry.
I can create lists fine. The aliases go into the local alias file for MM:

Success. It's always the simple permissions issues! Considering that
most who run mailman with postfix would face this, I'm suprised that a 0 B
aliases file and db were included with the fedora rpm - it would prevent
users from getting the perms wrong on a system where you, by default,
cannot
Well, I rmlist'd the list and tried again with the new aliases db line in
my main.cf for postfix. No dice. However, I did encounter an error page
that might help. What happens is I enter the info on the create list
page. When I submit, I get a popup asking what user's password I'm trying

Hi, I'm successfully runnning the default postfix (2) and mailman 2.1.2
installations on my fedora box. I decided to follow the instructions for
integrating mailman into postfix so as to have a web interface for list
creation.
What I found is that the aliases hash file in the mailman installat
I've only located to options relevant to this:
Send password reminders to, eg, "-owner" address instead of directly to
user.
Suffix for use when this list is an umbrella for other lists, according to
setting of previous "umbrella_list" setting.
