how can I strip the first [listname]?

I install mailman2.1 with default language.
And I can send and receive mails. When fill some
big5 or gb chars in the subject, I meet an error, language lookuperror. It seems that
something header filter checks done, Can I bypass the header check?

It outcomes an error:
