Sorry, should have mentioned that.
The anonymous_list is set to "No", and changing it to "Yes" makes posts
in the archive anonymous too (presently, only the emails are anonymous,
not the archive). Changing it back from "Yes" to "No" shows the exact
same behavior as well.

This doesn't seem to be the behavior that we're seeing. It seemingly
happened out of the blue, and we can create a new mailing list which
behaves as it did before. The headers also do not contain From XXX on

We saw some weird behavior on one of our lists about a month ago. It's
an internal list, and is meant to not be anonymous. All of a sudden,
the messages are coming from our -bounces address, and the users are
being obscured.
If you look at the archive, the names are being stored correctly,
