Hi,
I want to use mailman on debian etch.
Install seems to go fine.
Then with "newlist mailman" I get the starnge error:
Illegal list name: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
what is givin "true" here?
"hostname" gives a valid hostname.
I am stuck, please helkp, mailman needs to be working tomorrow!

is there a detailed documentation about the template variables that
are available for ALL the mailman files?
As I found there seem to be several formats and ideas of how to write
template variables, all different in the mail confirmation files, html
and configuration interface??? E.g. ow
