intended participant.
I plan to write a script that will handle such cases in a generic way,
however, I don't like reinventing the wheel. Does anybody know if this
problem has already been solved?

I am trying to start qrunner on my system - I can run it manually. When I try
to start it with the script that I copied to my /etc/rc.d/init.d/ directory, it
