I have a system that I just set up and mail, such as subscribe notifications
and list creations are going out but mail isn't making it in. I get a "server
is down" error reply. Although postfix is up, where might the "catch" be?

Now that I have Mailman up and running and the initial site list, mailman,
created, why am I getting the error below when attempting to create a new list?

getting left out and I've not been able to trace it down, but installing
Mailman via a package did nothing for Apache2 which I also installed via a
package and it worked.
I've tried all the different TID's and FAQs for the "webinterface not activ

Mailman FAQ:
Along those lines, and since SuSE was mentioned,I've just installed a SuSE
Linux Server 10 and let it install Mailman among other applications. It
reported that the install was a success, but unfortunately I've not found a way
to get to Mailman admin or other web interfaces using the "normal" U
back.
Any suggestions and/or ideas on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

reply to OR actually
send posts to themselves? Seems as though I've located an option pretty well
for everything else except a "receive-only" mode, but then I'm known to not be
able to see the trees for the forest, etc.

I've just set up our first Mailman and when trying to create a new mailing
list, other than the initial list, I'm receiving the message: Error: You are
not authorized to create new mailing lists
I'm stumped as the only password I've entered so far is the site
administrator's password. Any ideas
