Sounds like not working with JavaScript is something important to you. What’s

When I reply to a message on a mailing list, what is the “right” way to do it?
Should I be deleting previous thread text from my response?
Should I be adding anything in?
Is there some general ideas for the “right” way to reply to a message on a list?

Image a mailing list myl...@example.org
Is there any reason why the users could not be told to use

myl...@example.org
Would this raise any potential problems?

What I mean specifically - is it possible to send a message to a list such that
it goes into the archives, but it not distributed to list members?

If I run the mailman command it keeps creating “var” directories in whatever

Is that intentional?

Looks
to me like the servers administrator should use the site-admin password to gain
access to the list admin page.
Then
set the list password, remembering to enter the site-admin password under "old
password".
Handy
thing, that the site-admin password works for all passwords...
;-)
aware of this?
Is there a reasonable resolution yet? (please don't suggest dumping

I tried logging a bug on Sourceforge, but encountered problems there.
