Is there a way in Mailman 2.03 to filter out (even if it just means
rejecting) messages that contain MIME, HTML, or attachments? Majordomo had
a somewhat contorted way, by entering regexps into the majordomo.cf file.
This would be better than nothing. :)

After having zero luck getting Mailman to run on a FreeBSD 4.1
installation, I switched to Linux. It's Redhat 6.1 (it's what was
available).
I configured it exactly the same way I did on FreeBSD. The web interface
works fine, but any attempt to email a subscription request, or post to a
list,
I'm new to this list and to Mailman... I'm converting from Majordomo.
I dug through the list archives looking for anything similar to my problem,
but nothing definitive. It's really odd, and it's happening on two
