Yes -- it works great! We're currently running Python 2.2.2 and
Mailman 2.0.13. We're moving to 2.1 soon and we don't expect
any problems related to our use

I'm running 2.0.12 with about 15 lists, all of which are using the virtual
domain feature. New ones seem to have admin mail come "from" one of
the domains used by one of the first lists created, not from the domain
specified for the list. Users find this confusing.
What can I do to fix this?

Hi!
We use Mailman 2.0 for a number of lists which require arcives that
are open to all. We have had problems with spammers scraping addresses
from these archives and we wish to do something about it. The problem
is that if we hide all of the email addresses then legitimate users

Hi!
I'm currently using spamassassin to filter mail coming into my lists. I use
sendmail with procmail as the local delivery agent. However, since mail
sent to a program is not delivered by the local delivery agent I needed to
use a mail alias like this to have the processing done:

There have been questions here of late regarding backups.
Using bin/list_lists I can get a list of the lists. I can then easily cycle
through each list and (for each one) do the following:
- Run bin/config_list
- Run bin/list_members (once for digested, once for regular members)
- Copy the compl

Hi!
I have a list that has to have its archives rebuilt. The problem is that
the first two years of archives do not exist in mbox format, as someone
trimmed the mbox file way back when. This portion of the archives only
exists in the regular text files, that the Mailman archiver created.
I tried

I *REALLY* think this list needs to have moderation turned on for posts by
non-subscribers. I get the point about having it be open, but if you can't
take the time to subscribe

It would be *really* nice to have a name field associated with each

rather difficult to determine whether someone who has unsubscribed
from a list at one address and is now subscribing with another is
really the same person. Thi
