Thanks, Mark.
I decided to create a test mailing list to experiment with
content filtering. Incidentally, this is Mailman v2.1.5.
Edit filter content: YES
Filter mime types: (blank)
Pass mime types:

multipart/alternative
text/plain

I would like for members of the list I run to be able to
send HTML-encoded emails and any attachments except pictures.
"Remove message attachments that have a matching content

I no longer have appropriate privileges on the system where
I have my mailing list -- and the admins are being less
than cooperative -- so I would like suggestions as to where
I might move the list.
It has 350-400 members and is not expected to grow. Traffic
is around 10-15 messages per day.

Recently, I've been getting email notifications that email
posted to the mailing list I run requires administrative
action, but when I go to the administrative website, there
are no administrative tasks pending.
What is going on?
Where are the pending requests stored?
Thanks,
Pete
The system admin where I have my mailing list asks if there
is a way to install the latest version of mailman without
"blowing everything away".
I guess he means can he preserve exisitng lists, config
files, etc. when he updates.
We're using V1.1 (he's hard to convince!)
Thanks,
Pete
Using v1.1 (the sys admin refuses to upgrade!)...
How can I defeat whatever it is that logs the list
administrator off after a period of no activity?
Thanks.

The admin window of my list shows 272 members.
However, when I run bin/list_members, the list is only 147.
Where did the others go?
How do I sync these? There should be 272 members.
Thanks.

How can I assist the Linux system administration in troubleshooting this?
Thanks.
