Hello,
please visit http://www.list.org/MM21/i18n.html
to get more informaton about mailman 2.0.x internationalization.
Mailman 2.1 (in the moment only in an alpha release available)
will be fully internationalised.
You can get a copy of MM 2.1-alpha form
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mailman
Thats very easy.
Switch to your Mailman directory.
(for instance /home/mailman)
There is a subdirectory called "templates",
where you will find all templates as textfiles.
Take a look at the "verify.txt" file.

I realized that the return path of the monthly rmailing list memberships reminders,

Thanks,
I think the best way for a backup is to backup mailmans data self.
Extract all members, extract lists coniguration via "config_list".
If the MM DB became corropted, it should be easy to recover
it.

It shall be possible to customized the database lookups in Mailman 2.1.
But I think this will work only for the member db.
MM 2.1 is now available in an alpha release:

Before I switched to MM 2.07, Konqueror 1.9.8 was still working with MM 2.06

Hello,
mm_cfg.py is relevant only within the list creation process.
The default host name is a very basic thing and should be set via a configure option.
I was thinking that one of the options
--build, --host or --target could do this.
If I would use mm_cfg.py instead,
this wouldn't change the
This isn't a big problem ...
I need to change the default Hostname.
The Configure options:
--build
--host
--target
didn't what is requested.
Only set this value in Default.py had the desired effect.
But is overwitten by every new instalation.

Thank you for your help.

I belief, I have found the malefactor.
It's Konqueror (2.1.1).
When I am using Netscape the problem gone completely away.
Maybe I have to switch some default settings in the Konqueror configuration,
I don't know yet.

Helo again,
when I create a newlist, I'am not allowed to enter
a "@".
Are there no Mail-Domains allowed in "mailman" ???
I have dozens of list (in my LDAP-DB), who have the same local
name and differ only from domain.
I have to switch from LDAP to mailman-DB, cause mailman don't
support LDAP.

Yep,
I can answer now to my own stupid question.
I had set my exim-configuration to do a "su"
for every delivery for the analogs user.
(Exim runs under "root" rigths.)
Thereby exim calls the mail-wrapper with mailman-rigths.
them many times, tried almost every combination;
group and ownership too.
I have the sense that I am doing something very stupid, but the only chance I have by
now,
is to debug wrapper.c . :(
Can anyone see my error and direct me to the right point ?

but then when I send the confirmation back,
the mail-wrapper (/home/mailman/mail/wrapper),
which is called by exim, aborded with an GID_MISMATCH error.
I set the access rights to almost everything, no effect.
I would be thankfully for some help.
