I am migrating the mailman distribution lists from one instance to the other.
To reserve/block the DL names, I have copied over the all 'lists' folders to
the new instance.
Is there an option to run 'genaliases' per Distribution list on a on demand
basis. I believe the default behavior is

I'm currently using mailman version 2.1.12 on postfix and running on Centos
6.3.
Everything is working pretty much OK.

We want to be able to have root user send out emails to any distribution list..
Currently we have an instance of mailman were this works. I checked and noticed
that root is not added to the membership list. So not sure were in the config
