stro. Fedora Core 3, SuSE 9.2 Professional,
Debian, or GenToo can be used as servers, and there are several
enterprise class distros, Red Hat AS 3.0, and SuSE Lenix Enterprise

Linux distro.
I think I have answered your question.

Descr
nking of inserting this in the aliases for a couple of
reasons. We already have some code that builds password files for
apache, so that parsing the email and validating it against mailman is
not an issue. Then, the only other issue is to reflect the email back to
the sender with the appropriate rejectio

Actually I did that a while back, but we decided to hold off because we
were in the process of building a new server. There were some other
considerations. it's more that we run about 30 listservs and don't have
the time to deal with a lot of problems.

Is there a built-in filter in 2.1.x.

Use the list_members command:
list_members -o list.txt listname

While this is not integrated into mailman, it strips the messages first,
but allows them to post. While I have not yet installed the most recent
mailman, I found that mailman tends to reject messages with attachments,
including MIME digital signatures.

. Normally, the way we do it is to stage the new system on
another system, then either swap in the new system or replace the disks.
But, building Python2 is a better option.

a new list.
Renaming the list would effectively have the MTA bounce all the SPAMS.
One way I thought of when composing this email would be to leave
everything on mailman as it is, and simply change the alias.

In addition to this,
I noticed that when email addresses are added to the list, only the bare
email addresses appear to be captured:(eg.
Jerry Feldman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> becomes [EMAIL PROTECTED] )
Is there any mechanism to capture the entire address in its various
forms, above and
