Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,
I am using the command line to set, or unset a members moderation flag as
follows:
./withlist -r set_mod staff -u emailaddr...@domain.com
Is there a way to do this for many members by specifying them with an input
file, rather than entering them all in a very long command line?
Mailman 2.1.
I have an instance of Postfix-(2.4.3) running on my Mailman-(2.1.9) host-(Mac
OSX 10.5.6).
I am relatively new to both Mailman and Postfix, so I'm not sure where to look.
Is there something in Postfix that may be causing this?

Once again Mark, Thank you. Adding the two lines you mentioned fixed it.
As I'm getting acquainted with Mailman, I'm trying to pay close attention to

It looks correct to me. I know I'm missing something though.

Jeff,
I see the problem. you have two lists named "dm" and "dm-admin", but
LISTNAME-admin is one of the aliases created for every LISTNAME.
Thus, you get
dm-admin: "|/usr/share/mailma
I should have included this in my message. When crating a list from the command
line, The list creates ok, but I see this message just after I enter the
initial list password:
postalias: warning: /private/var/mailman/data/aliases.db: duplicate entry:
"dm-admin"
Hi All,
When attempting to create a list from Mailman's web interface, I get:
Error: Unknown virtual host: lists.risd.edu
I can create lists at the command line just fine.
How can I correct this?

Hello,
I have a couple of newbie questions...
I 've noticed several files in my shunt folder. when I run show_qfiles, I see
that they are messages to one of my lists. I have contacted the list

Never mind... I just found the find_member command. It was right next to the

I am retiring an older system running Mailman, and I would like to move one of

Can someone tell me

I am a newbie to Mailman and have a few questions:
What version of Mailman is recommended ? Am I good with 2.1.9?
Are there any issues with moving lists from 2.1.5 running on a G4?
Thanks a bunch,

Hello All,
I am a newbie to the Mailman ListServer, so go easy...
I have a new server running our new Mailman Lists. I also have an older system
containing Mailman lists that I want to migrate to the new server.
Is this possible? If so... how is it done?
Any help is appreciated.
