Hi everybody!
I'm a Linux newbie... (well... that is why probably I have some
problems with upgrading).
Now I have a running Mailman installation for my list with > 600
subscribers. It works fine... and I'm a little bit scared about
this upgrade if things go wrong...

When I tried to upgrade to 2.1rc1 I had the following problem:
[root@kocurek mailman-2.1rc1]# cd /usr/local/mailman/bin/
[root@kocurek bin]# ./check_perms

How can I change e-mail address of a user subscribed to some
mailing list?
Do I have to unsubscribe user and subsribe him/her again?
Then he/she would see the "good-bye message" and again
"welcome-message". I'd like to do it more silently :-)
Maybe there is some faster/better solution?

do not work. View by thread/subject/author/date seems to work

What I need to do is mass subscribe 600 people + 100 with the
option "no mail" (those users don't want to receive mails, but
want still be able to write to this closed list).
