private thing but no change, it is still forbidden to go to the

Perhaps this has been asked before, but is it possible with out of the
box Mailman to capture a little more information upon user registration
such as name, occupation, etc.?

before being able to access the discussion list. Since it is a student
club, members come and go frequently so we'd like to include names along
with e-mail id's on the subscription list so that we can easily identif
