Apparently the offending attachments are specified as gb2312 (a common
Chinese encoding).
Is there something I can do to somehow preprocess the archive mboxes, or
otherwise re-encode the attachments?

Ok I disabled SELinux and it is working.

I could not find the documentation that I read previously on how
to install mailman so that each virtual domain has distinct lists.
For example they may have the same listname ad are distinct by
the fact that they are in another domain.
Would someone please point me to the instructions.

I am having trouble with all of my lists. I can send an email to any of
them, the mail shows up in the archives, but doesn't distribute to any
(including poster) members. This was sudden, I hadn't logged into admin on

approxamitely 14 hours so it is
highly likely that something I tried during that time has broken

At one point it did actually work but I can't even remember what I did

I've realised my mistake, apparently mailman was installed in
/usr/lib/mailman instead of /var/mailman, since i had just copied and
pasted the /etc/aliases file it saw some conflict there, i didn't know
what version was installed prior to my install

machines onto one. When the monthly notices were sent out, all of the
bounces went to one address. Is it anyway to set up mailman so that
bounces go to the list owner and not the general mailman address?

have
run Mailman 2.1.2 successfully on Solaris 8 before, but we recently
upgraded to 2.1.5. If anybody has any further suggestions for things to
try, I'd appreciate hearing them.

I've checked the permissions with check_perms and there are no permissions
problems indicated. Anybody have any idea what is going on here?
