Myself and the other administrator that I've set up for this list have
decided to make it members only, and have those members posts be
anonymous. While I've found in the settings where to make the mail look
like it's just coming from the list admin rather then "on behalf of..."

I have Mailman 2.0.13 and I notice every month I’m
getting lots of unsubscribe requests
to [EMAIL PROTECTED].
Is there a way to change the configuration so that the list
owner gets these requests and not me (ie: [EMAIL PROTECTED]).?? Any help

I have Mailman 2.0.13 installed and I am noticing a problem. When
Mailman sends out the monthly password reminders to all the users one of
the mailing lists is using another mailing list e-mail address as to the

In order to have Reverse DNS setup you would need to talk to your
ISP (Internet Service Provider) cause they would need to fix the
reverse lookup for your IPs or domain. :)

of lock files. I am running FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE, Python 1.5.2, and Mailman
2.0.11.

'Privacy Options' again) 'Advertise this list...' to 'No' and 'Who can
view subscription list' to 'List admin only.'

e to do this for each page. hope this helps. worked for me when I
just needed a text file of all subscribers.

I am running FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE, Sendmail 8.11.6, and
I installed mailman into /home/mailman. Everything seems to work
ok but I am having a problem.
I created a test mailinglist, and then i tried to subscribe another
e-mail address and I get the first message asking me to hit reply
and send the
I just installed Mailman 2.0.8 and it seems to be running
just fine. I added a mailinglist and when I had a friend
subscribe to the group, it sent him the confirmation e-mail,
then once he sent the e-mail back it e-mailed me but didn't
automatically add him to the list, is there a way to do that?
