I thought this too, but what I can't understand is why mail sent from
the console gets delivered correctly.

that I can see the message leaving our system as normal.
This always affects the same users, and there are no error messages or
bounces received by us or them. Messages sent from the console arrive
correctly, and o
As the error message indicates, it's not thrilled with the GID
that it you're running the mail wrapper with. Fixing this requires that
you rerun ./configure with the --with-mail-gid= and set it to the same GID
that your mailer uses (check your sendmail.cf...look for DefaultUser= and

I haven't determined the exact cause, but since I've started using

Hi Susan. If you're the list administrator, you should be able to

The only time I've ever seen that error is when there was no

Not sure why you'd be able to send to them right from the box
though...unless perhaps you have something in /etc/aliases for the

Your sendmail is configured to use smrsh (likely via your

mailman isn't included in the directory that holds executables allowed to
run under smrsh. There are basically 2 ways to get around thisdisable

I was about to compose an email about the very same thing. I've
been fighting with the Admin part of the interface for a few weeks now. I
can get in to see the emails that are pending approval, but at the bottom
of that same page, there is usually the "We're sorry, we've hit a bug!".
