2002-08-21 Thread Christopher Kolar
Hi everyone.  I am running 2.1 b2 and have a quick question about digests.  I have a low-volume announcement list and some of the members are tagged as digest subscribers.  If I turn off the digest option in the digests options page will it convert them to individual email status, or will it someh

[Mailman-Users] news authentication, xposts (2.1b2)

Hi everyone.  I have two questions about the news gateway in 2.1b2. 1.  In mm_cfg.py I need to set up the username and password for authentication on the nntp host.  I am using the NNTP_USERNAME and NNTP_PASSWORD variables, but I am not sure if I should put the values in single or double quotes.

[Mailman-Users] list admin through email

2002-04-23 Thread Christopher Kolar
Hi all.  I know that you can do basic (sub/unsub) activities on a list that you manage through email.  Through  quick glance I did not turn up a list of admin activities that can be gated through mail.  In particular I am wondering about pulling a list of list members (including hidden members).

Hi all.  I am soon going to lose my broadband (moving to the countryside), which means that the server in my office is going to disappear.  I was wondering if you all could suggest an ISP or web hosting company whose accounts allow you (both technically and as part of the TOS) to install and run M

Hello all.  I was looking through my archive of posts and, while this problem has come up with several users, I was never really able to find a solution.  I am running 2.0.5 and on occasions when a list owner is asked to approve a posting they get notification of an internal server error when subm
