We have several mailing lists running on our list server. I am looking for a
script that will extract the number of active users in each list. Is there
such a utility?

hi
Currently we are hosting lists.xyz.com using Mailman. Can I use the same
installation to host lists.abc.com ?
I don't want the mailing lists of lists.abc.com to have a return id of
lists.xyz.com. i.e. I want to host the following mailing list on the only
server I have which hosts mailman,

hi
I had few basic questions about user management in Mailman
1. How do I know when a user registered himself with a mailing list?
2. How do I block particular email ids/emails from a particular domain from
becoming subscribers of a list?

hi
We are using Mailman 2.1.9. I want the admin of the list to be able to do
the following by sending emails and not visiting the admin section (web)
- Add/delete member(s)
- Delete "all" members of the list
- Add a bunch of users to the list
This is not for spamming. This is for a particular cl
We went back to Fedora 4.x and the memory is being flushed. It appears there

When we post anything on a list that has about 360k email ids, python is
using 4GB of memory

Would it be advisable to upgrade now itself or wait for the stable version?
But is there a WEB interface for viewing all these member reports [by date,
name, status]?
List activity of various types would have to be gleaned from Mailman's

hi
When the moderator of the list sends an email to the list he is not getting
a single copy of his own email. I checked the settings of the moderator and
it looks ok [I see "no dupes" checked for the moderator].
What could I be doing wrong?

hi
I would like to know how many emails can mailman send out in an hour [assume bandwidth
connection is 512k]. This is not for spamming but we have a huge client list and we
need to send out mails. We use lyris but the new version is way too expensive.
Some other questions,
