I have seen that many people have asked this question on the list, but have not found an answer in the archives so forgive me if I ask again. I just upgraded to 2.1.2 and have found that some clients cause the footer to come across as an attachment. I can disable the footer to cause this to go

Ben, I am running a slightly older version of mailman, but in the admin pages, privacy option page there is a flag called "Must posts be approved by an administrator?" I have set this to yes and it works great for a moderated list I run. Perhaps this option is called something different in 2.

If someone subscribes via the web interface they don't show up in the user list. If I add them via the administrative web interface they do show up. Any reason why these two act differently I have not blocked anyone from subscribing and no approval is needed? Also, and I think because of this
