me. Apparently the Mailman component is fairly high priority. If

For Mailman 2.x I completely agree. The use cases where this would be
needed will be solved in other ways in Mailman 3.

possible for corporate entities as Stefan mentions but even then
probably very rare. If you are going to add the code to check for a
null admin password, why not add an additional check to see if a new
config option is set to ye
