[Mailman-Users] Upgrading to 2.1.6

2005-12-31 Thread mcnutt
I've just upgraded my 2.0.x installation of mailman to 2.1.6, and I'm so close I can practically taste it. But it's still not working. When I send mail to a list on the server, I get back the following error: The original message was received at Sat, 31 Dec 2005 14:37:28 -0500 (EST) from utk-cls.

[Mailman-Users] manual upgrade (was: RELEASED Mailman 2.1.7)

2005-12-31 Thread Jim Popovitch
Hi, I normally build mailman (./configure; make install) on a dev system then tar/rsync it to a production machine. I checked the UPGRADING notes in the 2.1.7 release and there is no mention of anything (i.e. withlist, fix_url, etc) that needs to be done when upgrading from 2.1.5 to 2.1.7.

I'm pleased to announce the release of GNU Mailman 2.1.7. This is a significant release, which includes security enhancement fixes, a new language (ia: Interlingua) support, a couple of new features, and many bug fixes. Mailman is free software for managing email mailing lists and e-newsletters.
