Hi guys.
I have attempted to set up a mailman system, but the admin
interface seems b0rked. It's a fresh install of mailman 2.1.5 on a Red Hat
Linux 7.1/x86 box. I log in with the list administrator password (this
works) and try to change some general settings, but each time I hit the

I recently started looking at Webmin, and it's pretty nice.
So, I started looking for a Mailman module for Webmin. Sadly, the only
one I found on SouceForge is kinda old. Has anyone used it? Does it
work? Is there a working module out there somewhere?
Thanks,
Mike

I've been trying to upgrade my FreeBSD 4.8 system from Postfix 1.1.12 to
2.2. Every time I install it, it works fine. However Mailman stops dead.
When I uninstall 2.2 and revert to 1.1.12, Mailman is happy again.
Looking at the current versions, I suppose I should try for Postfix 2.3
now inst
I was wondering if there is a way to restrict a particular mailing list to a
group of senders like say the users on the list? I am sure there is a way I
just can't seem to find the setting in the web admin.

Hello all,
I am new to mailman and need to move around 200 lists from one server
to another. I am looking for an easy way and fast way to do so. If
someone could explain how or point me to good docs on how to do this I
would greatly appreciate.

I have been trying to get the "Urgent:" header to work and I can't seem
to get it to happen. I can't modify my MUA's headers to add it

I didn't find this in the FAQ or in the archives so I thought I would
post it here. I'm trying to resolve a problem I'm having where messages
that appear to get stuck sometimes my Mailman lists and was wondering
what steps you would recommend to take to figure out what is causing the
problem.

If you have command line access, the preferred way is bin/list_members.
If not, see t
I have recently setup a server running mailman 2.1.5, im having

html emails to be posted, every time they just get converted to plain

anyway to allow html through onto the list? I have

and content filtering off, but still no joy,
This just a note of thanks to Brad Knowles, Mark Sapiro and Jim
Tittsler for insights that helped us get notifications working again.
Our specific problems-- python version and gid mismatches-- were
pretty common errors, but the combination threw us off the trail.
Thanks again.

There are a few ways. If you are moving to another mailman system you can
just copy the directory for the list to the new system.
You could email[EMAIL PROTECTED]
and in the body put
who listpassword
and it will email you back a list of all the emails in the list IF the

the 5200 email addresses? the system allows me to see only 30 each time.
Can I see all of them in a continuos list?
