[Mailman-Users] Prevent Web Subscription Confirmation?

In ver 2.1.4 I want to prevent subscription confirmation via the web. Subscribing via the web is fine, but not confirmation. Allowing this lets people/IPs black listed at server level in postfix to go around my spam /security system. Any help appreciated. Tim -

I had Mailman installed on my server by someone else (I know nothing about using Unix Servers) but since then I've lost track of the person who did it for me. I need to have the software upgraded on my server and wonder if anyone on the list is knowledgeable enough to undertake that task for me.
