I have a series of 15 or so lists all on the subject of prostate cancer.
I frequently post studies to two or more of the lists depending on
content. This means some get multiple copies of these posted studies as
some members belong to two or more of the special prostate cancer
interest gro
Well, the subject line says it all. Any new list I create keeps getting a "No such
list xxx" message when trying to administer via the web. Previously created lists
are still accessible via the web and work great.

Interesting. You can try changing that to
LANG=de_DE fmt -s -w 80
to make sure Solaris can handle
The file in question is a test file that contains the mime wrapper
from Nimda. The payload has been replaced with and the code is
completely inactive. I would say your virus scanner is a bit anal, as
there is zero threat from the file.

--with-groupname, --prefix, --with-var-prefix and --with-python for mailman

Hello,
I received the follow error while trying to create a list on my server. I
am running Postfix as my MTA and trying to set Mailman to work with
Postfix without using virtual domains. It seems to work fine...but when
you create a *new* list this error is generated:

AFAIK, "python-devel" is just a name distinguishing one RPM from another.
If you're building from source, you will get the things contained in both
the python and the python-devel RPMs, such as libraries and includes.

Yes, you have to start mailmanctl (it took me a while to find it, too).
For a one-time-start it's enough to call
bin/mailmanctl start
in the mailman home directory.
To have it started on each reboot you must include it in the /etc/init.d directory (or
whatever it is called in RedHat).
