Mailman 2.1b2 allows subscribers to select digest delivery mode - even
if the list is set up not to deliver digests at all. What happens then
is that these subscribers do not get any mail at all. The admin is not

Yes,
We have users who have large lists, one has over a thousand users, and
keeping track of all the dead email addresses can be tedious through the
web interface. Is there a command-line way of getting a list of all email
addresses in a list that have 'nomail' flagged?

Hello!
1. I just wanted to know if it is possible in mailman to subscribe to a list by
clicking on a link in a message rather than by replying the message?
2. Do I need root access to install mailman on a Linux machine?
Thank you!

I don't have sourceforge account so I'm posting here.

The sender email addresses are not being obfuscated properly in the archival

This can cause harvesting of sender addresses.

Hello
My name is Camelia Botez and I'm system admin in Weizmann Institute.
I installed mailman on our web server that runs also like mail server.
Everything looks nice but when I send mail to one of the lists
,I don't get any error message , but the mail doesn't go to the users
from the list.
Does your software
handle bounce backs?

Can the log files generated by Mailman be cleaned out/deleted without
hurting anything? If the answer is yes, if I delete them - will they
recreate themselves or should I just remove the contents of them?
Just wanted to check before I broke something!
Thanks

2. Is there any wan I can mass delete list members?
Many thanks.

Hi... I am looking to get a group I run (actually a few of them...) off of
Yahoo Groups (ick) and onto Mailman. I don't currently have a box running
that can host this and was wondering if anyone knew of any commercial
hosting companies that support Mailman?

Is it possible to programmatically change admin options without resorting to
using httplib? For example, I would like to be able to change privacy
options on a newly created list without calling into
http://host/mailman/admin/list
Anyone know of any options available to do this?
Thanks,
