I sent the mail to the list and after authorizing the same
from admin page for that list in the browser, list achieve
link still says forbidden. I checked the achieve folder, it
was empty.
Also how do I set the list as totally public, meaning non
members too need not require admin/owner c

After you installed htdig, did you follow the htdig install directions for
generating the metaphone and soundex databases?
Do the databases in fact exist on your system? Named properly?
If you are not using sound-alikes etc, then you shouldn't have it configured
in your htdig configuration fi

Yesterday I set up and configured a few lists as public lists, and that
worked: they were shown on the listinfo page of the server.
Today they do not show up, the listinfo page claims that there are no
public lists at the server. But I did not change anything! And if I look
into the configurat
