When you say "not working", are your messages not being posted at all? Do they
appear to go in limbo? If so, did you configure your mailman crontab?

Did you configure your mailman crontab?

Hello,
I have successfully installed and configured Mailman, but posting
messages does not seems to be working.
I tried posting messages manually using
"cat /var/mail/list | /home/mailman/mail/wrapper post list"
But archive link still does not work. The directory "list.mbox"
itself is empty.
isn't there a quicker way to mark a member as no mail? I wish there were
a method similar to the add member function . (I could paste a list of
email addresses that didn't want to get mail any more)

Hi,
I'm attempting to use Mailman-2.0.10 with sendmail-8.11.6 on FreeBSD-4.5.
I've installed Mailman from the FreeBSD ports collection and configured it as
per the INSTALL document.
I've checked that aliases exist for Mailman itself and my list and that a
crontab is in place.
My problem is
As far as I can tell, Mailman does not have proper support for umbrella lists.
We have a need for lists that are aggregations of other lists.
EG: all_general_staff might look like:
:include:/packages/majordomo/lists/dept1_staff
:include:/packages/majordomo/lists/dept2_staff
:include:/packages/maj

This seems to me true of many, probably most,of the postings on this list.

I have successfully translated nearly all of the text on the list info page

Now I do not find where to translate the text on the buttons and the few

Can anybody tell me where to change that?

Any hint is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I recently decided to advantage of my webhosts Mailman emailing list
facility.
However I am a little confused on how to set up a read only mailing list.
I would like my subscribe page to look like the options on this one:

Hi
Quick question, what user properties should mailman have, bin/sh, bin/bash
or something else?
Thanks

Is there any more detailed documentation on how to use config_list and

to me. I need to change things like the password of the site (if someone

Thanks!

Any reference to these "tricks"?
Is there any setting to set the archives into MIME format or
otherwise to view HTML formatted emails?
Thanks,
