I've released Mailman 2.1 beta 2; see below for a list of changes
since version 2.1 beta 1. There have been lots of bug fixes, Korean
language support aded, and a couple of new features (a bit of a thaw
in the feature freeze ;).
Remember that discussions about version 2.1 are preferred on
mailm
Kevin, If it's the Stock Mailman, I went and got 2.0.8 from the Gnu
site, compiled it using
./configure --prefix=/var/mailman --with-mail-gid=41
--with-cgi-gid=apache --with-username=mail --with-groupname=mail
And it worked after that. :)

Hello all - trying to get mailman working with postfix, on RH7.2.
I have seen references everywhere about the error I am getting, but none of
the solutions are panning
out. It is the mail wrapper complains of the GID. I did % python -c'import
os; print os.getgid()' and got the GID of the mailman u

I just registered under #630885 and surfing around I noticed this may
not run on Windows 95.Can you tell me if it will work before I go
further>If it won't work,can you direct me to a site that will work?

I'm trying to use mailman on an alternate port. My company uses NAT, and we
host our own webserver on IIS. I have to run mailman, then, on port 81
(it's on our linux box, not the windows box).

I just added in a web form for people to use to subscribe to a new
list I have set up. When I put in an email address and hit join it
says:
Childrights Subscription results
You must supply a valid password, and confirm it.

My problem:
- I compile and install without problems
- When a user subscribe ti the list, the notification by email is ok, but
when de user confirm it, the server don't add the user.
