Well, so far as I can determine ... mail to remote users from Mailman
is never even making it to qmail. That is to say, when someone posts
to the list (local or remote), qmail log shows receipt, queueing, and
delivery of all the local messages - but NOTHING for any remote
messages. Nada. Zip.

You know what? I really hate it when people say things like this. It's all bluff and

Amanda,
Why are you running Mandrake 8? That IMHO is bleeding edge, and not stable for a
production server. I run 7.1, which I think is their last "stable" release. 7.2 had
some bizzare library compilation problems.
I believe Mandrake defaults to Postfix for a mail transport, which works ve
In my previous msg about multiple domains, my newness to all this showed
through! I added the "alias" to my virtusertable, not to the aliases file!
Anyway, I would not have figured any of this out without the prodding and
help of a buddy here. Thanks to those who help with such things!
Well, I posted about three different questions to the list about how to get
the multiple domain thing happening on my system, which elicited varied and
interesting comments -- mostly suggestions to either run multiple copies of
Mailman or to give in and use a single domain for all lists. While

Well! I don't know exactly what happened, but it looks like something
was funky within qmail-inject. (Like, corrupted. All I can
figure is that the power outage that destroyed tux's keyboard and a
few other files, somehow managed to affect this one enough
that some mail will go through it and othe

Hello,
When I subscribe in my list, I receive a confirmation with a request.
I send this request but never returns me a confirmation from the list.
Messages are queued in transport queue, in mailman log says pending,
and there are not errors. The problem is that not subscribe.

Thank you, Bob.
I'm a new Mailman user, so I wasn't aware of the ongoing conversations, or
where people stood on this.
The archives are not searchable, otherwise I might have found this.
Sigh.
