I'm currently installing Mailman for announcement only "Newsletter"
style lists, and it will be used across several virt domains. I have a few

upgrading to python 2.1 / mailman 2.0.4, mailman wont authenticate
my admin password for any of the lists that existed before the
upgrade...
This is *rather important* that I be able to fix soon. 8-)

I'm trying to setup mailman with sendmail.
I have both setup and am able to subscribe to the
list. There after an email is send to the
person requesting to be on the list.
When the person responds for a comfirmation, the mail
is undelieverable. this is what sendmail log reports.

I would do some tests on basic mail... Telent to the box on port 25
and see how long it is before you get the greeting. Do the smae on the
box to an outside machine. Both should be *very* fast. If they are
not, look into reverse resolution of the ip address of the mailman
box.

Turned out to be mostly permissions... but I'm still having to hand edit the
mm_py.cfg and Defaults.py to get around some domain name issues... If I
figure that one out I'll post a note to the list.
