I've followed the instructions in the INSTALL file to setup Mailman version 2.1a2
but when I tried to subscribe to the test list I don't get a reply to confirm
subscription. And the mailman-owner account gets the following message every

You can configure Mailman to hold messages containing the
appropritate MIMe header lines.

How fast does Mailman deliver messages? number of emails per hour, I mean.
Do you have any performance statistics? I have a user base of 5 to
20 (it's unknown at this time). Would it be possible to use Mailman or
would you advise me to search for a more robust system?

I see that it's relatively painless to bring in addition mbox
formatted archives into a new mailman list, but I'd like to bring in a
bunch of old stuff from Majordomo in it's Log format. Any suggestions
on this?

I can say that here we sometime had problems with MS Exchange, because
of it's proprietar format (ms-tnef attachments) and it's automatic
changing formats of emails.
These problems does not occure with mailma
