I have a list, currently hosted by another LUG at a different University that
we want to move to this machine. The current machine is running mailman v1.1
and we want to move that lists to this machine runnign mailman v2.0.1. Are
teh lists configuration stuff still compatible? I haven't seen an

I am having a problem with mailman, and was hoping someone out there might
have had the same thing happen, and could help me out a bit.
I am running on FreeBSD 4.2 with newer apache web server and postfix for
mail.

I'm wanting to add search capabilities to my lists, and have downloaded
htdig. I'm not sure how to configure it to work with the mailing lists
though. Can someone give me some guidance in the area?

Hi everyone. We are running 2.01 (upgraded from 1.0) under DEC True64
4.0F. Most of the lists are working just fine, but there has been some
weirdness with a recently created batch. When we access /mailman/admin to
work on the lists we are able to get into some, but others the request
times
Under general options, I changed the host name information from
host1.domain.com to host2.domain.com (both host1 and host2 are the same machine
according to my DNS server).
But when sending out lists, mailman insists on using "host1" Am I missing
something? What else do I need to change to fix

Any time you need a password, the order is: user, list, admin. (i.e. the list or
admin password works.)
