have mailman successfully running on one of our other servers, but am

I've been a happy Mailman user for many months, with absolutely no
problems. I just rebuilt my server from scratch using RHL 7.0 (previous

first installation of Qmail that, as part of the "official" installation
procedure, you pass through steps that would allow you to use Qmail as a

While trying to get mailman to work correctly I have found that sendmail
has been altered and or modified by the manufacture of our server. We
are currently using a Cobalt raq 4. I can not get mailman or the raq4 to
accept a post to a list. The server also will not alias correctly.

Mailman-Users maillist
Hi!
I am using Mailman, the GNU Mailing List Manager, version 2, and I cannot figure out
if I can make my list read-only. Please tell me if it
has this feature and if yes what I should do.
Thank you very much!

Yes, sir. I'm logged in as root and I'm sitting right at the machine
administering it (It's not over NFS or anything like that). I was

permission to do the install (which is probably stupid -- Python
probably gets its author

I have tried to install mailman-2.0.1 on my linux server.
After the installation, I created a new list and tried to subscribe to
this list. However, the mail accounts for the auto-responders were not
