into another senario of a runaway RTP-over-TCP session, and it is
preventing me from testing your last fix.

I have not updated myself to the latest, but I am only working on an
older version of the LiveMedia library from March 16, 2010.
Sorry, but no support is given for old versions of the code. There
have been significant changes to the code (including to RTP-over-TCP
handling) since then.
