Hi folks,
I recently picked up a Foscam FI9821W V2 and upgraded it to the current
v1.11.1.18 firmware, and I'm still having difficulty streaming from it with
any open source tools. (For example, VLC plays it, but has a lot of errors,
visible corruption, and high latency.)
In my extensive searchin
ng an MPEG4 RTSP
stream from an Axis 243SA video server. Any insight as to what this
might mean? It doesn't seem to happen consistently, but it's happening
a lot today. Seen with both VLC 0.8.6i and 0.9.2.
Thanks,
Mike

PS - Ron, thanks for the detailed writeup. I'm going to play with your
suggestions today.

to get that correct.
I did try 15 with similar results. I can try other values tomorrow I
suppose. Is it possible that the mpeg4 stream actually has a variable
framerate?
