I'll try and test this scenario later too. Not sure I've tested seeking.

Hi all,
I'm using the live555MediaServer application to stream an mpeg2 ts to a
VLC client on linux. I used the MPEG2TransportStreamIndexer app to
create a .tsx file to go along with the .ts file.
Playing the stream at a normal scale of 1.0 works just fine, as does
playing it in fast forward

That shouldn't happen. Can you give us more information about the
crash (and why you believe that the "LIVE555 Streaming Media"
software causes it)?
In general, no support is given for old versions of the code.

Hi,
How can I get hold of older versions of the LIVE555 code base. I am
trying to identify the version that works with VLC media
player(0.8.6d). The latest version of LIVE555 crashes VLC.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks,
