FYI, after submitting this bugreport I downgraded (overcopied) my DC++ back to version 0.802 (which I still had in my backup folders) and everything runs smoothly again. In other words, DC++ does not crash anymore. However, this means that I can not upgrade to the newest version. If you need me to

I am sorry, I already solved the bug myself. Just set the bandwithlimiter to your maximum bandwith and the problem goes away, everything runs smooth again.. I set mine to 2100 kb p sec maximum downloadspeed and that did the job. It perviously had "0" (unlimited) as standard, and that just didn't
