Spitfire confirmed that the question is solved:

you should still have the bloom plugin despite that error; they only
affect the bloom-lua interface which no script currently uses anyway.

Spitfire is still having a problem:
that would leave me with an incomplete hubsoft since bloom is preferable
its a simple work around but not a solution :)
